Design a Tote Bag

Traditional marbling is a unique technique where you are able to mix colors afloat water in order to transfer patterns onto different materials. This can include, paper, fabric, and even 3D objects. The patterns are reminiscent of the glass marbles once played with by children.

In this kit, we are taking a modern approach to marbling that can be done in the comfort of your home. In addition, you will also learn how to sew by hand and assemble your very own tote bag. This simple back hand stitch can be used on numerous projects and will surely be a lifelong skill you acquire.

With this simple project, you get to channel your inner artist and unleash your creative side for all to see.

This box was co-designed by your mentor Budoor Abdulqader who is passionate about designing ready to wear clothing specializing in pop culture and street style. She focuses on specialty fashion techniques such as embroidery, hand painting, and screen printing.
